DanceEast Academy

The DanceEast Academy teaching team

Academy tutors are highly experienced and regarded in their profession and some still continue to perform professionally. From time to time these tutors may be offered work which takes them away from the area during term time.

So that this level of practitioner is accessed, DanceEast has to allow a degree of flexibility in Academy teaching roles which may involve tutors being changed. In addition, tutors undergo regular evaluation so that a high standard of teaching is maintained.

Over the course of the year students will meet a range of tutors, all offering different skills. Through experiencing different teaching, learning and delivery styles, students will learn to be adaptable and versatile.

Other freelance tutors may join the team to deliver modules and cover occasional classes. These are always of the highest professional level and are auditioned prior to being offered work.
