Past Academy projects
Each year Academy students have the opportunity to participate in a range of workshops in addition to their regular training, which often allows them to try out different dance styles.
Previous opportunities have included workshops with:
- Bawren Tavaziva;
- Mandy Montanez (BBC's So You Think You Can Dance);
- Northern Ballet Theatre;
- Skip Hop;
- Wayne McGregor | Random Dance;
- Zoonation.
Performance opportunities
Annual performance projects expose students to professional choreographers who each bring a unique style and process. Students have performed in local, regional and national venues including:
- Bonnie Bird Theatre;
- Clore Ballroom, Southbank Centre;
- Jerwood DanceHouse;
- New Wolsey Theatre;
- Norwich Playhouse;
- Norwich Theatre Royal;
- Robin Howard Theatre;
- Royal Festival Hall.
