Resources for parents/guardians/carers
Students may apply for financial assistance with travel and dancewear
costs. Application can be made on a yearly basis, and assistance is
means tested on the same scale as
grant funding for the DanceEast Academy scheme.
Planned absence form
Students with the DanceEast Academy are expected to have an attendance rate of 90% and above. The 10% allows primarily for illness.

As DanceEast and the DanceEast Academy continue to grow, there are ever-increasing publicity opportunities to promote the organisation.
Gifted and Talented in schools: A Guide
'Gifted and Talented' describes children and young people with one or more ability developed to a level significantly ahead of the year group.
Music and Dance Scheme audition criteria
When selecting children and young people for a National Grant, dance students should show evidence (appropriate to age, experience and dance style) of exceptional potential and commitment.
