Open Days are free but places must be booked in advance. Please check the website for latest dates and information. We recommend anyone wishing to apply for the scheme attends an Open Day to find out more before making an application.
Auditions
Entry to the scheme is through a two stage audition process. Everyone who applies will be invited to the first audition (lasting 1 day) where they will take part in practical dance sessions, and will have the opportunity to find out more about the Academy programme. Selected applicants will then be invited to the final audition and interview which will take place over two days in summer 2010.

Opportunities for schools
If you are a teacher and would like further information for your school or a particular student, please contact the Academy team on 01473 295230. If you would like display materials or wish to discuss the possibility of Academy tutors visiting your school to deliver free taster workshops or talk about the opportunities available, please let us know. We can provide free training for teachers as well as workshops for school and dance groups throughout the spring term.
Schools packages include:
Fun & creative workshops aimed at children who will be aged between 10 and 15 years in September 2010.
Gifted & Talented workshops designed to either equip school teachers with basic knowledge and understanding of identification criteria and issues associated with identifying Gifted and Talented pupils, or workshops specifically aimed at Gifted and Talented dancers.
Assembly pack - DVD and information pack with essential information on the Academy to enable teachers to deliver a 20 minute assembly on the scheme.
