All hair should be tied up and away from the face in a style suitable for your class. Boys with long hair or fringes should also fasten the hair back away from the face.
Between classes students should wear the Academy sweatshirt and other warm clothes.
If students are taking mid week classes on their ITP outside the Academy, they should ask for the uniform requirements from the class teacher and dress neatly at all times.
Notebooks
The DanceEast Academy will provide students with a notebook. Students should take this to all classes and it should be used to take note of:
- Corrections given in class
- Information given
- Any aches, pains, or problems
In addition students will be encouraged to collect ideas and thoughts relating to their dance training in the notebook, including reflections on performances they will visit.
Lost Property
All dancewear and notebooks should be clearly labelled with the student's name. Lost property will be collected and held in the office until the end of term, when unclaimed items will be donated to charity.
