Welcome to DanceEast's summer programme of community classes and workshops in an eclectic range of dance styles for people of all ages and abilities. As one of England's leading dance organisations, DanceEast offers a range of opportunities to access dance.
No refunds can be given unless a class is cancelled.
JS is a well-established youth dance company based in Ipswich. This audition-based company meets weekly during term-time to develop their contemporary dance and choreographic skills and perform at least twice a year at DanceEast events.
Boyz United is Suffolk's only boys dance company and meets on a weekly basis during term time and aims to perform at least twice a year. The group offers contemporary dance training and improvement of improvisational and choreographic skills.
The group caters for a wide variety of dancers from those working as dance artists, to dance teachers, graduates and those who have a long standing involvement in dance through DanceEast.
Spin Off is an adult contemporary dance company for dancers who have a learning or physical disability. Spin Off creates a safe and stimulating environment to enable the dancers to express themselves through movement and focuses on ability.
This new DanceEast company offers 16-20 year olds in Ipswich the opportunity to develop contemporary technique and choreographic skills, as well as the chance to perform at regional events and create new work with guest choreographers.
