The award winning and critically acclaimed international choreographer and director, Jonathan Lunn, has brought together an amazing array of artists from the worlds of film, dance, music, literature and opera to create Reading Room.

In a series of scenes focusing on different lives and relationships Reading Room looks at the connections, disconnections, pacts, secrets and lies of our human interactions.
Reading Room includes written text and narration by Anthony Minghella, with lighting design by Peter Mumford and an extra choreographed section by Bury Youth Dance. At each show the performers will be accompanied by a well-known guest actor.
Jonathan Lunn’s previous credits include work as a choeographer and director with Los Angeles Opera, Washington Opera, Opera Bastille, Paris, English National Opera, Ballet Theater Munchen and The National Theatre, whose production of Pericles earned him an Olivier Nomination for best Choreography in Theatre. His own dance productions include Modern Living, winner of a Time Out Dance Award. He was a recipient of a NESTA fellowship in 2002.
