Local Businessmen return to the catwalk for DanceEast’s Night & Day Charity Fashion Show!

Following the success of last year’s Men in Skirt’s finale at the Life is a Cabaret Fashion Show, local businessmen will be returning to the catwalk in a ‘Mrs Mop’ themed section of the Night & Day Fashion Show on Friday 30 September at the Jerwood DanceHouse. The fabulous volunteers will strut their stuff at the Night & Day Fashion Show in a skirt or outfit of their choice, be it a Beckham style sarong, a traditional kilt or something more adventurous!

Sue Hall, Managing Director of Maid2Clean (Suffolk) Ltd, and sponsor of Men in Skirts said, ‘It is such a worthy cause. Art and dance as healing therapies have tremendous success rates. I do some voluntary work with looked after children and I can’t tell you the difference extra funds can make to these children’s lives, making these kind of therapies accessible to them.  I am delighted to sponsor Men in Skirts in their efforts to raise funds for this worthy charity.’

The men will be raising money to help support DanceEast’s community participation and education work with schools, hospitals and looked after children. DanceEast offers the opportunity to use dance for creative expression and physical and psychological therapy, through expert tuition and support.

All of the men are busy gathering sponsorship, and there is already an amount of healthy competition amongst them to see who can raise the most from their network of friends and associates. This opportunity to see some of Suffolk’s most successful men in business on the catwalk is not to be missed.
