Dance in education

DanceEast is proud to support the BA (Hons) Dance at University Campus Suffolk, as part of a joint partnership. It also provides studio space for students at Suffolk College and those studying the BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) with Ipswich Academy.

Regional dance networks

DanceEast's Rural Retreats

The now internationally recognised Rural Retreats was established by DanceEast in 2003. These sessions bring together guest speakers from the world of business and sport with dance leaders, to share experiences and discuss the place of dance in today's society.

Carnevale

Saturday 24 March, 7.30pm

Help the DanceEast Academy to continue to nurture outstanding talent in exceptional young dancers across East Anglia.

Enjoy an evening of masked mystery and glamour at the DanceEast Carnevale celebration. This enchanted evening will bring a flavour of Venice to the Ipswich waterfront, with fabulous entertainers, Italian street food, dancing and a professional casino.
