Russell Maliphant.'

AfterLight, a new creation for three dancers, includes the solo
AfterLight (part 1), inspired by the photographs and geometric drawings of Vaslav Nijinsky. This solo has been nominated in the category of Best New Dance Production at the 2010 Laurence Olivier Awards.
'Obsessive, revealing, true to Maliphant's manner and to Nijinsky's
imagery'

Completing the evening is
Choice, (winner of the 2003 South Bank Show Award for Dance), with an original sound scape influenced by Asian rhythms and written by the composer mukul.
Choice will be performed by the Catalonia based CobosMika Company, founded and directed by former Maliphant dancers, Olga Cobos and Peter Mika. The Company's daring and explosive choreographic language blends dance with improvisation, and incorporates elements of martial arts and physical theatre.
