This energetic, challenging and faster paced contemporary class will cover a number of techniques, building on phrases and ideas over the weeks. The class will also offer participants a chance to engage, collaborate and be creative.
The class will begin with an easy warm up to get your body ready to move, followed by a series of phrases and exercises that focus on different parts of the body. Phrases will be built on throughout the course, with a focus on developing stamina, creativity, and technique.
This class is recommended if you have at least 2+ years of experience in contemporary and have attended contemporary classes in the last few years.
We also offer a Level 1 contemporary class. If you are unsure which class level is appropriate for you, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly Box Office Team on 01473 295230 who would be happy to advise you.
Participants should wear clothes that they are comfortable moving in and bring a reusable bottle of water. Water fountains can be found on the ground floor and 1st floor of the building. Shoes should be removed for class and participants should wear socks or participate bare foot.
Term dates: Thursday 21 September – Thursday 30 November.
Half term: There will be no class on Thursday 26 October.
