Hadleigh Mini Movers is the perfect way to nurture your little ones natural love of movement in a structured yet relaxed environment. Themes, music, props and games are used to develop balance, coordination and imagination, and grown-ups are encouraged to join in the fun too!
A typical Mini Movers session looks like this:
- Warm up- sat down, lots of stretching and wiggling!
- Introductions and welcome song
- Introducing theme – space!
- Story time
- Movement game
- Parachute games
- Warm down – seated again
- Goodbye song
From a Mini Movers sessions, you can expect:
✓ Development of co-ordination, balance, stability, and strength
✓ Supported healthy movement habits in children from a young age
✓ Strengthening of relationships between adults and their children
✓ A safe, supported space for little people to move and have fun!
The autumn weekly class will run every Tuesday from 5 September, 9.15-10.45am at Hadleigh Library. The session includes half an hour at the end for refreshments and socialising. Please note: there is no session in half term on Tuesday 24 October.
Mini Movers is suitable for under 5s and their adult. Our Mini Movers sessions are free to attend but spaces are limited so booking is essential. Please ensure that you book yours and your little one’s place online or via the DanceEast box office, 01473 295230 prior to the session. Only those who have booked in advance will be able to participate in the session.
Hadleigh Mini Movers is supported by Babergh District Council. It is run in partnership with Suffolk Libraries.
