MEET THE TUTOR
My name is Ash Goosey, aka Turbulent aka Lil Campaign, and I’m really excited to be teaching Krump at DanceEast!
I come from a contemporary dance background but became disconnected with the style over time. I found my way into Hip Hop movement styles through working with different dance companies, travelling and performing, and then through these connections discovered Krump.
I’ve now been training in Krump for 4 years, and last year started a crew called Badd Kompany consisting of myself, and two other krumpers; Katie Boag aka Sever and Stephen King aka Campaign.
Together we hold sessions, battles and events, and create concept videos together.
For me the most powerful part about Krump is the community and the connection with other people. Krump can be anything you want, the ability the style holds and gives me to explore myself and release emotion is powerful, and overall, it’s so fun!
