Relaxed. Social. Joyful.
An uplifting, social dance class for grown ups and babies in slings (0–1s) to move, bond, and connect. This relaxed session blends movement, music, and rhythm with time to chat and meet other parents in a welcoming, supportive space.
No dance experience needed—just come as you are. Babies from 8 weeks and onwards are warmly invited to join in the fun. Parents, please ensure you’ve had your 6-8 week check-up with your GP before participating in the class. The class is designed for babies to be worn in slings or baby carriers and the class tutor is trained and qualified in advising on safe and correct use of slings and carriers, should you require any support before or during the class.
*Any parent or guardian who carries their baby in a sling is welcome to participate in the class.

Monday 22 September – Monday 1 December 2025
Half Term: There will be no class on Monday 27 October 2025

WHAT TO BRING
Participants should wear clothes that they are comfortable moving in and bring a reusable bottle of water. Water fountains can be found on the ground floor and 1st floor of the building. Shoes should be removed for class and participants should wear socks or participate bare foot.
BURSARIES
Bursaries for autumn 2025 classes are now open.
Bursaries are available to participants on a termly basis. Please remember you will need to re-apply each term if you would like to continue receiving the bursary. Bursaries are not guaranteed each term and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To keep the bursary for the full term, participants must attend at least 7 out of 10 classes. If 3 or more classes are missed without prior notice, the bursary will be withdrawn.
Children and young people from low-income households may be eligible to access this class for free through the DanceEast Bursary Fund. Find out more about the DanceEast Bursary Fund and the necessary criteria here.
