Yoga for children can help towards building your child’s positive sense of self through physical and social connection with others and our environment. These fun-filled classes explore traditional yoga poses, acrobatic and partner yoga to develop strength, coordination, flexibility as well as increasing body awareness, concentration and self-esteem.
The tutor will strive to maintain a balance between spontaneity and structure in a supportive and fun environment using music, dance, song and drama games. During a yoga class there is a complete absence of judgement and competition which helps to create a safe-space, nurturing magical co-creation and offering stress-management in the form of relaxation techniques supported by guided imagery, touch, sound and breath in meditation.
