HOME IS WHERE THE DANCE IS

The Jerwood DanceHouse might be temporarily closed, but we haven’t stopped dancing, and you don’t have to either! During this period of increased inactivity we are keen to ensure you can still access our services. Although it won’t be our usual programme, we’ll be releasing digital classes for you take part in at home from Monday 30 March 2020, through our YouTube channel.

Take a look at our new timetable below and you will see that Home Is Where The Dance Is includes classes for different age groups, as well as chair-based sessions – so everyone can take part, wherever you are!

WHAT TO EXPECT

DanceEast dance artists will lead you through light dance exercises – raising morale, and more importantly reducing the negative effects of inactivity and inevitable boredom! The individual classes will last between 15 – 20 minutes and will be available online for one hour, so you can rewind and repeat the class as you wish! The warm up and cool down options will always available in case you’d like some guidance!

The same class content will be repeated throughout the week, introducing new content the following week. If you have any questions, try our Frequently Asked Questions page – if you still don’t find your answer, please get in touch!
