Each placement will include an insight into several departments within the organisation
including Front of House, Technical, Marketing & Development and Creative Teams.
Successful placements will be set creative tasks and will have the opportunity to speak to
staff about careers in dance and the arts. Please note, this is an office-based role and is
recommended to those who are interested in finding out about what it means to “make
dance happen”.
Students should apply for placements directly, rather than parents or schools applying on
their behalf. All successful applicants will be asked to attend a short, informal interview with
a member of the DanceEast team, in advance of their placement.
Dates for the summer placement are flexible but dates for the April placement have been set
to revolve around our calendar of projects, giving applicants a greater insight into what we
do.
