This Saturday 20 June, DanceEast is holding a Taster Class Day featuring five short taster sessions in different styles for only £1 at the Jerwood DanceHouse, Ipswich.
Have you ever considered going to a dance class before but something has been holding you back? Maybe you have been to ballet before but fancy giving tap a go. Whatever the reason, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get moving.
If you are a beginner or haven’t danced for a long time, then our taster sessions may reignite an underlying passion. There is a broad range of classes available to try throughout the day, including hip hop, musical theatre, jazz, tap and contemporary. Each class is 45 minutes long and only costs £1, so why not come join us and learn something new this weekend.
Our Creative Team Coordinator, Charlotte Haddon, is in charge of programming the day and says that “This Saturday’s taster classes are a great opportunity to roll your sleeves up and give something new a go. There is something for all the family to try in a friendly environment, with some of our best teachers, all for just £1!”

Musical Theatre (4 – 7yrs) | 2.45 – 3.30pm
Jazz (16yrs+) | 3.30 – 4.15pm
Tap (16yrs+) | 4.15 – 5.00pm
Contemporary (16yrs+) | 5.00 – 5.45pm
