Performed to Max Richter’s re-composed version of Vivaldi’s seminal work The Four Seasons, James Wilton Dance present a work of immense physicality, driving energy and sweeping beauty.
In their iconically athletic style, James Wilton Dance fuse capoeira, acrobatics, martial arts and classical dance to create work that rushes with energy and dynamicism. This abstract, yet honestly human choreography relates each of the four seasons of the musical composition to the four stages of the universe, creating a kaleidoscopic visual feast for audiences that is not to be missed.
The show also features stunning stage and costume designs of Vibeke Andersen (designer for Opera Graz, Bregenz Festival), lighting design by Paul Milford and video by critically acclaimed film maker Daniel Martin.
