Join Akademi for a beautiful, fun, and thought-provoking exploration of plastics and human’s relationship with them. Drawing on South Asian Dance techniques, Plastic Drastic Fantastic is ‘highly visual’, with choreography that ‘simply sparkles’. It is ‘gorgeous’ (Mary Pollard, Everything Theatre).
Designed to be accessible for D/deaf audiences, Plastic Drastic Fantastic is a vibrant, fun and thought-provoking show for our time.
There are a limited number of sensory cushions available for the performance that are designed to be held by audiences who are D/deaf or with a hearing impairment, offering an additional sensory experience of the show. The sensory cushions are soft objects that pulsate to the beat and respond to tonal qualities of the music and sounds.
