National Theatre River Stage 2023, with James Cousins Company | River Stage, National Theatre, Upper Ground, SE1 9PX
The National Theatre’s River Stage festival will return to London’s South Bank every Friday-Sunday from 9 June – 2 July. Take-over partner James Cousins Company invite you to join them for an unforgettable weekend on the River Stage Friday 16 June – Sunday 18 June.
On Saturday 17 June, students from the DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training (CAT), join James Cousins Company to re-create the company’s internationally acclaimed work ROSALIND. Inspired by one of Shakespeare’s most headstrong heroines, Cousins takes her passion and eloquence beyond words in this electric piece, featuring poetry from Sabrina Mahfouz.

DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training (CAT)
Based at the Jerwood DanceHouse, the DanceEast CAT provides high-quality dance training to young people aged 10 – 18 years who have exceptional potential and talent from across the East of England. The part-time pre-vocational programme delivers training in contemporary, ballet, hip hop, health, and creative studies. Find out more about the DanceEast CAT here.
