Date: Monday 10 November 2025
Time: 10:30am – 4:30pm
For the first time, Casson & Friends will be leading professional development workshops giving an insight into the creative process of their current touring work, SHED STORIES and how the company make and create their unique brand of “People Powered Performance”.
Led by their Artistic Director, Tim Casson, the workshops will explore a range of games and creative strategies including approaches to working with text, headphone verbatim technique, and turning conversation into choreography.
The workshops are of interest to those who want to explore socially engaged performance work at the intersection of dance, theatre, and documentary; and are suitable for student and graduate dance artists, and performers with movement experience.
This workshop is presented in partnership with DanceEast, and is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
