WHAT TO EXPECT
Dance Mama (Lucy McCrudden) will lead you through three, 1.5 hour sessions of training online all about the ins and outs of project management in dance through a learning and participation lens. Covering everything from initial ideas, to building partnerships, finance, delivery, and evaluation.
With over 20 years of experience working in leadership and project management in high-profile projects with organisations such as the Royal Opera House, The Place and Rambert, Lucy will give you a good understanding of best practice on how to get your ideas up and running.
IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR ME?
Independent practitioners, freelancers and artists working in dance who want to up-skill their project management. These sessions are suitable at any stage in your career – it’s a chance to improve your understanding of best practice if you’re a new and early career project manager, and a fresh perspective if you’re a seasoned project manager.
It’s also a great opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals who have the desire to deliver artistic projects of this nature.
You don’t need to be a Mama! Everyone is welcome.
This latest offer follows on from our recent sessions including Applying for Project Grants and Introduction to Fundraising, aimed at artists and producers living and working in the East of England, supporting them to develop and deliver their independent projects. The workshops are free to enable access to the widest possible group.
If you need additional support to access these sessions, including but not limited to captioning / BSL Interpretation, please get in touch in advance of the session at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can ensure you have everything you need to have the best experience.
Please note: There are a limited number of spaces for these sessions and when you book you’re signing up to all three sessions. If you are unable to attend the sessions please let us know so we can offer the place to someone else. If you are unable to attend and don’t return your place you will be charged.
