We have made some changes to our Work Experience offer to improve the quality and the experience at DanceEast for people undertaking placements with us. Each placement will now include an insight into several departments within the organisation including Front of House, Technical and Creative teams. Students will be set creative tasks and have the opportunity to speak to staff about careers in dance and the arts. The placements are aimed for young people looking towards a career as a Dance Artist and Arts Manager.
We will be offering two placements this year. The dates for the placements revolve around our calendar of projects, to ensure you gain a greater insight into what we do. The dates are:
15th – 21st February 2016 For Year 10 -13 (or the equivalent). Please note the dates are Monday – Friday, and Sunday
13th – 18th June 2016 For Year 10 only. Please note the dates are Monday – Friday, and Saturday
