Anti-Body explores the biological form of the human body and the technological drive to transcend it. Three performers, isolated yet connected digitally in an interactive space of motion responsive visuals created by Uncharted Limbo Collective, explore tensions between mind and body, containment and connection, and the desire to be unique as well as part of something larger than ourselves.
Didy Veldman's Humanoove
Critically renowned choreographer Didy Veldman returns to the Jerwood Dancehouse with her dance company, Humanoove, to delve into what feeling ‘at home’ truly means.
Growing up in unified Europe and now living in the UK post-Brexit, Didy and an internationally diverse creative team want to discover how we feel at home. After a year when home is all that we’ve known, this incredibly poignant dance work looks at feelings around connection, self-worth and relationships in the place where we should feel most ourselves.
