Buckle up this December, as this acrobatic and gravity-defying festive family show blasts off into the galaxy, on an adventure where anything is possible!

From the world-renowned dance-circus company, Motionhouse, expect high energy fun, magical characters, surprises, and humour, as an adventurous group of five friends, The Starchitects, leave their cosy sleepover to embark on a daring rescue mission to save Santa and Christmas!

Dive into the magic of childhood imagination where anything is possible as empty Christmas present boxes transform into a rocket and take you on countless thrilling adventures. From meeting a funny monster to hroughout their journey playing lots of games that all your family will know, like hide and seek, grandmother’s footsteps and the floor is lava.

This exciting intergalactic Christmas story will grip the whole family – from tiny tots, primary aged children, older siblings, parents and grandparents!

Festive arts & crafts, plus your chance to meet the Starchitects!

With a mix of gravity-defying choreography, amazing digital projections, and magical characters for you to meet, Starchitects Save Santa! is a visual spectacle like no other.

It’s the perfect family day out to kick off the festive period, with festive crafts to keep the little ones busy while you all enjoy a drink and snack in the foyer before the show, and with an exciting and enchanting chance for you all to meet the characters after the show has finished!

About Motionhouse Dance Company

Founded in 1988 by Louise Richards MBE and Kevin Finnan MBE, Motionhouse create world class dance-circus productions that tour extensively to rave reviews across the globe. From full-length productions for theatre touring to flexible work for the outdoors and large-scale performance events, their sell-out productions integrate athletic physicality, powerful narrative, incredible digital imagery and emotive sound scores.

Their work takes its inspiration from common human concerns and connection to the world in which we live, with recent works exploring flooding, the pressure of time, fear and captivity, and our relationship with water, the Earth and energy. Their dancers perform on stunning sets, with aerialists and singers, in incredible settings and to breath-taking effect.
