GCSE DANCE DAY

Our GCSE Dance Days take place once a year, usually in October. The day is designed for students in Years 9, 10 and 11 to work with professional companies featured in the GCSE syllabus. Students will take part in workshops led by these companies, as well as have the opportunity to speak with the artists about their work, the companies, and careers in dance.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is advised.

Delivered either in your school or at DanceEast’s Jerwood DanceHouse, workshops are inclusive, flexible, and designed to inspire all learners.

We value strong partnerships with schools and are experienced in developing bespoke projects tailored to your curriculum, setting, and budget. If the options below don’t quite meet your needs but you’re keen to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND CAREERS

Our careers events and work experience opportunities are designed to inspire students and showcase the wide range of roles within the dance and creative industries. Students can get stuck into interactive careers workshops and bespoke in-school sessions, hands-on work experience placements, exploring pathways both on stage and behind the scenes.

They’ll gain insight into roles such as performers, producers, technicians, and more, while building confidence and understanding of future opportunities. Whether attending a one-off event or taking part in a placement, these experiences connect learning to real-world careers.
