Careers in Dance Workshop
A session designed to inspire students by showcasing the breadth of careers available in the dance sector.
- Highlights roles from choreographers and performers to producers, dance scientists, and movement directors.
- Engages students in practical tasks to explore their own strengths and interests in dance.
- Provides insight into pathways, including vocational training, university courses, and pre-professional programmes such as the DanceEast CAT.
Best delivered as a 90-minute workshop, or half-day workshop.

WORK EXPERIENCE
We can host a small number of work experience placements in June or July. This offer is open to Year 10 students. DanceEast offers an office-based placement, giving students a chance to explore various behind-the-scenes roles within the dance and creative sectors, including Front of House, Marketing, Producing and Tech. It’s an ideal way to get invaluable experience working in a professional dance organisation.
