EncoreEast is a performance company of older dancers. We exist to promote dance by and for older people, seeking to achieve creative, artistic and performance innovation and excellence. We create and perform in both traditional and site-specific spaces for live, screen and on-line audiences.
Aiming to make dance accessible and relevant to a wide range of people, we work to create positive perceptions of ageing. We offer work opportunities for professional artists to teach, create and exchange learning with older dancers.
