Charlotte Long


Charlotte graduated from the University of Worcester in 2014 with an honours degree in Sports Therapy which entites her to a full membership under The Society of Sports Therapist.

Since that time, Charlotte has worked in the private sector taking a special interest in musculoskeletal disorders. She has been the lead Sports Therapist at both Leiston Football Club & Felixstowe & Walton Football Club. As well as working within semi-professional football Charlotte has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in lower limb injuries and rehabilitation programmes.

Having completed a masters degree in Psychology, Charlotte has a real passion, skill and knowledge of sport performance, health psychology, musculoskeletal injuries and clinical pilates.

Charlotte is currently undertaking her mat level one to three pilates course with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI) and hopes to be qualified in 2022.

Charlotte works alongside Jonathan George to screen the dance students for injury risk by assessing each individuals strengths and weaknesses and holds an injury clinic at DanceEast each half term.

Charlotte has been part of the Health Team for the DanceEast CAT since 2016 and thoroughly enjoys her time at DanceEast!
