Natasha King
HEALTH TUTOR
Natasha developed her love for ballet and contemporary when growing up in the United Arab Emirates and Barbados. She moved to the USA where she obtained honours in both her BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography and BSc in Psychology, whilst also performing with the Towson Dance Company. Natasha then spent a year teaching ballet in Vancouver, where she performed with the contemporary collective Collab Art Creations. After obtaining Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher Status, Natasha taught ballet and contemporary full-time in Canada, as well as directing and choreographing for three student performing companies, and working as a freelance choreographer.
Natasha moved to the UK in 2017, where she completed her Masters in Dance Science with Distinction at the University of Bedfordshire. She currently works in Central School of Ballet’s Higher Education programmes, and teaches the ballet programme at Sandford School of Dance in Bedford. She also maintains an active research profile, works independently with clients as a Nutritional Therapist, and delivers lectures and workshops at various higher education institutions in dance psychology and nutrition.
