Noora Kela

Noora Kala’s career in dance started when she graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a first-class honours degree. Since 2003, she has worked with many UK and European choreographers. She has had a longstanding relationship with the Henri Oguike Dance and Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, where she was given the chance to broaden her knowledge of dance through educational outreach work, workshop planning, mentoring, and rehearsal directing for the companies.
Noora’s outreach education spans all participants from children and young people, professionals, and everything in between; her passion for sharing the joy and creativity of movement has made it possible to tailor educational activities to suit all participants.
Noora stopped performing in 2021, which initiated a desire to use her skills in other areas of dance to help others realise and achieve their full potential in the creative world. She is currently undertaking a BA Honours study in Art and Culture Management at HUMAK University of Applied Sciences.
