Contemporary (50+) | Open

Welcoming. Musical. Confidence.

A fun and supportive contemporary dance class for ages 50+, perfect for beginners or those returning to dance. Led by an experienced teacher, sessions include a gentle warm-up, creative movement phrases, and exercises to build strength, mobility, and confidence. Explore musicality, express yourself, and move at your own pace, with suitable modifications for all levels.

This class is for those with little to no experience with contemporary dance. We also offer an Advanced Contemporary class.

Half Term: There will be no class on Monday 16 February 2026.

WHAT TO BRING Participants should wear clothes that they are comfortable moving in and bring a reusable bottle of water. Water fountains can be found on the ground floor and 1st floor of the building. Shoes should be removed for class and participants should wear socks or participate bare foot.
