DanceEast’s October Half Term Dance Club is BACK with Dance In A Day!

Whether your child is a dancer or just wants to have fun, these tailored day sessions for 4-7s, 8-11s and 12-16s give young people the opportunity to learn and create a dance in a day with guidance from our dance team and industry professionals.

They’ll get the chance to explore creative ideas with others, form new friendships, develop confidence and learn and refine new dance skills.

At the end of the day, they get to perform their finished piece for friends, family, and peers and have a huge amount of fun along the way!

A dance festival created for young people, by young people!

YouthFest is a free, one-of-a-kind day festival celebrating dance, the arts and Ipswich’s vibrant and ever-growing creative community. Whether you’re a dancer, visual artist, musician or just someone who loves to create, YouthFest 2025 has something for you.

Bring your friends, have fun and get immersed in live performances and practical workshops that explore dance alongside other art forms, or come along to enjoy the positive energy that comes from simply moving your body.

Baby Loves to Boogie is back with a fun, autumn twist! Celebrate the season in our joyful, music-filled disco designed for families who love to move, no matter their dance experience.

Led by our Disco Queen, children aged 0-4 and their grown-ups will enjoy playful dance games and props as they groove to the music.

There’s plenty of room for buggies in our foyer, and our family-friendly café is perfect for a post-boogie coffee with friends.

For under 8s, Kids Love to Boogie is the ultimate disco!

Our Disco Queen will lead you and your little ones as you groove to the music, dance with your friends, take part in games and have the freedom to move in your own way, no experience needed!

If you fancy a break from all the dancing, you’ll find different arts and crafts activities in the foyer, perfect for a bit of creative time.

Back again after last year’s sell-out festive performance, Protein Dance’s The Magic Flute is the perfect way to celebrate the season with your loved ones.

Children 5+ and their families are warmly invited to watch this enchanting tale of friendship and love, featuring dancing, storytelling, singing and stunning visuals. Join fun-loving bird-catcher Papageno, lost Prince Tamino and Princess Pamina as they uncover the truth about the mysterious Queen of the Night.
