LATE AUDITION FOR FUNDED PLACES AT DANCEEAST CENTRE FOR ADVANCED TRAINING (CAT)
The DanceEast CAT offers high-quality dance training to young people aged 10 – 18 years who show enthusiasm and potential in dance. Students take part in weekly contemporary, ballet, Hip Hop Dance, health studies, and creative dance classes.
It’s important to us that there are reduced financial barriers to accessing the CAT, therefore means-tested grants are available to support the costs of the programme.
SEPTEMBER 2025 ENTRY
We are holding a Late Audition for September 2025 entry, specifically for those aged 10-16 who are eligible for a full or partially funded grant for the DanceEast CAT programme.
These grants ensure that young people can enjoy high-quality dance training, exciting performance opportunities, workshops with professional companies and trips to the theatre. Grant holders can also claim funding to support travel and dancewear costs.
LATE AUDITIONS
Auditions are free to attend and are designed so that everyone can take part, regardless of dance experience. You will take part in contemporary, ballet and creative dance workshops. The audition is designed to be fun and welcoming.
Please note that the DanceEast CAT 2025 Late Audition is open for students who qualify for a Music and Dance Scheme full or part grant, find out more about the grants available here.
