DanceEast and Suffolk Libraries invite you to bring your favourite storybook characters to life in an exciting day of workshops led by dance artists, storytellers, and theatre practitioners. We believe in the power of stories, and we love bringing stories to life through dance. Let your imaginations run wild and get creative through movement.
What to expect on the day:
- Share your favourite stories and storybook characters with others
- Learn how dance can bring stories and characters to life
- Use your own ideas and our wonderful selection of props to craft stories and explore movement guided by our experienced dance artists, storytellers and theatre practitioners
- Share ideas and work together as a group to create your very own ‘Once Upon a Dance’ piece to share with your grown-ups.
We welcome everyone to join us, you don’t have to have any dance experience.
“Fun, wonderful, amazing.” – previous half term activity attendee
