CAT – Before you Apply
We want to give prospective students an insight into what it is like to be part of the DanceEast CAT, so we host a range of free evenings including Taster Days, Open Days, and Information Talks.
All our events are designed so that everyone can take part, regardless of their previous dance experience. These events are a great way to meet the CAT team, experience the training, and learn more about the programme.
All our Taster Days and Open Day events are free to attend but must be booked in advance.

We encourage everyone who is interested in joining the CAT to apply to audition; you do not need to have previous dance experience; we look for potential.
DanceEast CAT auditions are held once a year, with the next round expected to be announced around March 2026.
