Explore new worlds through dance.

Discover three new worlds spanning from ancient mythology through to futuristic sci-fi. National Dance Company Wales (NDCW) will transport you through story, time and space with this triple bill of captivating dance and gorgeous design.

Get inspired by Infinity Duet, a unique collaboration between choreographer Faye Tan and artist Cecile Johnson Soliz whose sketch-covered costumes and swinging sculpture take centre stage alongside warm, soulful movement exploring weight and time.

Be mesmerised by Marcos Morau’s Waltz, which has dazzled audiences across Europe. Glittering, otherworldly beings move across a stark white landscape with razor-sharp precision. A dystopian sci-fi adventure into chaos, order and control, hailed as “utterly compelling”  by The Times.

Finally, be transported on a quest to discover Mabon by Osian Meilir. Experience the Mabinogion in a new light as you journey through ancient Wales to meet the world’s oldest animals. Tradition twists with wild imagination in this modern myth. Fantastical costumes and rebellious choreography are interwoven with heritage, folklore and mystery. Inspired by the magical realms of Welsh mythology and set to new music by Welsh triple harpist Cerys Hafana.

Running Time: 110 mins (inc. 20-minute interval and 15 min post show talk)

Please note the performance on Friday 21 November will include a post show talk.

ROAD CLOSURES – please read if you’re visiting for Surge / Masterclass!

St Peters Wharf will be closed from 7.00pm on Friday 21 November until 5.00am on Tuesday 25 November, and a full road closure of Bridge Street southbound at the same time. Access to St Peter’s Dock car park will be blocked. We recommend parking at Duke Street, Cardinal Park or Foundation Street. For more information about road closures click here.

Late Comers

The late-comer policy is to enter in the pause between Infinity Duet and Waltz as the first work is just 10 minutes long.
