The Care to Dance programme has been designed to be delivered in community Dementia Care settings, that deliver dementia specific activity for family carers, carers and those living with Dementia.
Creative dance is used as the main stimulus, using movement and music to engage all participants to increase and improve the participants mobility, co-ordination and balance. The sessions are also designed to improve the participants mental wellbeing through the shared enjoyment of dance, sparking creativity, joy and imagination.
