DanceEast and Suffolk Libraries invite you to bring your favourite storybook characters to life in an exciting day of activities led by dance artists, storytellers and theatre practitioners. We believe in the power of stories and we love bringing stories to life through dance. Let your imagination run wild and get creative through movement.
What to expect on the day:
- Share your favourite stories and characters
- Learn how dance can bring stories and characters to life
- Use your own ideas, and our wonderful selection of props, to explore movement and creative dance
- Work as a group to create your very own Once Upon a Dance piece to share with your grown-ups.
We welcome everyone to join us – you don’t have to have any dance experience.
“My daughter had a fantastic time and is still talking about it.” – adult of previous half term activity attendee
