Participants should wear clothes that they are comfortable moving in and bring a reusable bottle of water. Water fountains can be found on the ground floor and 1st floor of the building. Shoes should be removed for class and participants should wear socks or participate bare foot.

Bursaries for Autumn 2026 classes are now open.

Bursaries are available to participants on a termly basis. Please remember you will need to re-apply each term if you would like to continue receiving the bursary. Bursaries are not guaranteed each term and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To keep the bursary for the full term, participants must attend at least 7 out of 10 classes. If 3 or more classes are missed without prior notice, the bursary will be withdrawn.

Children and young people from low-income households may be eligible to access this class for free through the DanceEast Bursary Fund. Find out more about the DanceEast Bursary Fund and the necessary criteria here.

Support young people’s access to dance
We believe that everyone should be able to experience the joy of dance. Your support will allow us to create places in our classes for those who would otherwise not be able to access these based on cost. £8.00 pays for one bursary class for a young person. Please consider adding a donation to your booking at checkout. Any amount makes a difference.
