Applications are now open!

If you’d like to join the DanceEast CAT you’ll need to attend an audition. Our auditions are free to attend, fun and accessible to everyone, and we encourage anyone who’s interested in joining the CAT to apply. You don’t need to have previous dance experience; we look for potential.

If you’re a young person in the East of England aged between 10-16, you’re enthusiastic about dance, motivated and eager to develop new skills, and believe that you have exceptional talent and potential within dance, then we want to hear from you!

Everyone who applies, and is eligible, will be invited to attend a Stage 1 audition. You will only need to attend one of the dates below. Auditions will take place at the Jerwood DanceHouse, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP4 1DW.

Stage 1 Auditions

Saturday 16 May 2026 | 9.30am-1.00pm OR 1.30pm-5.00pm

Sunday 17 May 2026 | 9.30am-1.00pm OR 1.30pm-5.00pm

Following the stage one audition, you may then be invited to attend a Stage 2 audition (dates below)

Stage 2 Auditions

Stage 2 auditions are invite only, and will take place on the following dates:

Saturday 6 June 2026 | 9.45am-4.15pm

Sunday 7 June 2026 | 9.45am-4.15pm
