We are delighted to be able to share with you our in person courses programme for Spring 2022 at the Jerwood DanceHouse. As you will see, we are repeating the previous interim courses timetable, but with small tweaks to the programme.

We are working hard to bring the best possible programme to you in the present climate. Watch this space though as we are determined to relaunch a really exciting full class programme in Autumn 2022.

Centre for Advanced Training

The DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) offers high-quality training to young people aged 10 – 18 years with exceptional talent and potential in dance from the East of England. CAT is part of a national programme supported and developed by the Department for Education’s Music and Dance Scheme.

GET DANCING THIS SUMMER

The summer months are jam packed with lots of ways to get dancing! DanceEast will be out and about across the region at a number of exciting events and festivals over the next months so if you’re around, come and say hello! Likewise, if you’re local to our base at the Jerwood DanceHouse in Ipswich, check out our programme of activities for children and young people throughout the school holidays, giving everybody a chance to watch, try and perform!

Dance for Parkinson's

Delivered by English National Ballet Associate Dance Artist Abbie Biscoe and Associate Musician Nathan Tinker, you will creatively explore the themes, music and choreographic language of this term’s chosen pieces across the eight sessions.

Summer 2022 Courses

Our 2022 Summer Courses are now on sale. The term will run for 10 weeks from the week commencing 25 April to the week commencing 4 July, breaking for Half Term during the week commencing 30 May.
